Shoulder, neck, and back pain are very common, with approximately 80% of people experiencing back issues at some point in their lives. Degenerative conditions play a dominant role in the development of these complaints. An astonishing discrepancy often exists between pathological-anatomical and radiological changes and the actual symptoms, which can lead to confusing interpretations of the pain’s causes.
An MRI is not always necessary, and surgical intervention is rarely required. To treat these conditions effectively, it is crucial to have a deep understanding of the different types of disorders and individual needs, which involves extensive experience, a comprehensive approach that includes complementary areas of medicine, and empathy. The guiding principle for the diagnosis and treatment of back pain is the National Clinical Guideline "Back Pain." However, since only a small number of orthopedic surgeons and neurosurgeons were involved in developing this guideline, we modify it with our own expertise.
We offer a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic options that allow us to treat you in a highly personalized manner.
